Pride vs UFC?

There will never be a UFC v. Pride tournament/match/event. The two organizations can't even negotiate a cross promo fight between two of their best fighters due to profit sharing issues (Lidell v. Silva will not happen). However, more Pride fighters will start crossing over and fighting in the UFC as the American organization is becoming more competitive with fighter purses. Pride gets the better fighters because it pays more, but the company is in financial trouble. It recently lost it's television contract and has been given offers for a takeover (one supposedly by the UFC). To compare the organizations is tough. I believe that Pride is has better overall fighters and I love the tournament based events, but UFC fighters would be able to hold their own, were a cross promo event to be held. Pride clearly has better heavyweights, but other than that, talent is in both organizations throughout the weight classes.

It would be awesome but will never happen, becuase the UFC has too much to lose. There is no comparison for the talent level between UFC and Pride. For the majority the UFC weight classes are NOT deep with talent. Take the Heavyweight class for example the top 4 guys from pride could come here and completely destroy tim silvia. Pride FC just has superior talent and UFC is never going to promote a card where they stand a large chance to lose face with their fans and money. If there was ever a joint card UFC would be thoroughly embarassed

Concidering half the mainstram fighters have fought for both UFC and Pride they kind of already have been fighting each other. Karo Parisyan for instance fought for Pride and won back in October. Then last week he fought for UFC...
UFC is curently taking busness and fighters from Pride apparently Mirco Cro Cop is switching to UFC from Pride and so are a few others. It's basically like WWE and WCW when WWE took WCW over. Half of WCW wrestlers were former WWE wrestlers...

Many says chuck as a great wrestler in ufc but i dint saw his perfomance good in pride.If crocop switch to pride after defeating fedor than ufc will go one level more.
