what i am wondering is whether guys like going after girls that play hard to get. and if that is the case, then why? does it seem more of a challenge to them if the girl plays hard to get? i would've thought that if a girl played hard to get the guy would not want to chase her anymore because it's too difficult...

It can go either way. Some guys don't like to be played while others enjoy the chase solely so they can "win."
It's not good to play games with people.

I love to chase, yes because of the challenge, but also because of bragging rights. If anyone guy could hook up with a given woman A, big deal so what, but if only a select few have been able to get with woman B....well that's something to talk about to your friends. Just like 2 teams in any given sport. Getting there is half (and sometimes more) the fun.

Guys like challenges. They are guys. In their oppinion, it's like the reward is so much better after a good fight. However, guys are people, too, and will get tired of being teased. I don't tease simply because it's kinda untruthful about your personality. It's like your selling yourself off as a girl who plays with guys like a cat plays with a mouse and I don't see how they would like that.

Every guy I know likes the chase. It's the thrill of the hunt that makes them want the prey. Anything you have to work for in life means so much more. If it's easy to get, it's easy to give up.
ps, women like a little chase too, an overly nice, giving loving guy is never appreciated enough. it's the bad boy image.
think about it.

I don't think it is the chase that men like. I think it is space. When a woman is "playing hard to get", she isn't blowing up his phone or hanging all over him when he is trying to be with his friends.

I wouldn't say then enjoy it, as in they want it to happen... but it definitely intensifies their lust which in the end is a good thing. Some guys really beat themselves up over girls that play hard to get, though and never actually get them.

Sometimes you can play so hard to get that he starts to believe that you really don't want to see him. Keep it balanced. See him and let him know you are going to a party with someone you met, and see what happens. I did that and married the one I met before the party.

i like hard to get but i also like to know theres something to be gotten,the better the prize the more it makes the chase worth while and yes it is fun!
