Its difficult having to be surrounded by fighting parents (both of whom I assume you love). But during the turmoil, you must remember that their issues are not your issues. You cannot internalize their strife by blaming yourself and it only exaserbates the problem when you attampt to escape through alcohol, drugs, sex, etc.; You have a responsibility to live up to your fullest potential and not allow anyone to cause you to fail. Often times our greatness is tested by difficulty and strife? Perhaps there's a family member close by whom you can visit or hangout with during these times especially if you have to study or perform. Spiritual awakenings has been helpful for many but it only comes through prayer and meditation (finding the time to reflect while being alone in a peaceful setting). Just be very careful who you pray to and make sure what you seek is for fulfilment and not chaos. Do not allow bitterness, hatred, or resentment enter your heart and life for such will only destroy you in the ned by robbing you of the blessings, peace and happiness you are meant to receive. I hope this helps.

I know it must be hard to hear them fighting all the time, but there is not much you can do. They are the parents, you are the child -just learn from how you feel and when you are the parent, try and have a peaceful, loving home for your children.

Maybe it is just the way they are, if they have always been the same you should already be used to it, if not, pay attention on who is the one who is starting , because it means he or she is not getting what he expects from the relationship and is just trying to find any reason to quarrel and explode. If you can , when they are fighting tell them how you feel and how you would like them to behave, if not loving, at least rationally.

how old are you? im sure this is bothering you and you want them to stop. i would not of liked it if my parents argued all the time. thats not a healthy relationship. arguing over the smallest things means that they are not communicating as much as they used to.
go up to them and tell them you all must talk. sit down and talk. tell them that it bothers you and hurts you when seeing them argue all the time over the smallest thngs. tell them they need to compermise and communicate more.
tell them that if they continue like that you will grow up and be like them with your future wife.
they need to be a role model. and arguing all the time is nothing to learn from.
also, your parents arguing all the time might mean they dont spend much time together. do they work full time? do they come home and barely have conversations?
tell them they need a vacation. not to get rid of them. but for their own good. they need to rekendle their love and their relationship.
THEY NEED TO BE ALONE TOGETHER. and make sure they go somewhere romantic. a nice hotel or up in the moutains in a nice cabin.
i think they need to take some time away from home and away from stress.
you take care of yourself. make sure that you dont end up like that.
in a relationship there must be trust, love and faith. you must communicate and you must compermise.

Leave the tape recorder on and then when they watch TV mute the sound and play their fights back for them and say at the end that you do not like this childish behavior in front of you.

Well try saying things out loud to your friend on the phone in front of your parents like 'Oh my parents ALWAYS fight for stupid reasons and blah.....And see their reaction.
