.......and i danced with her at school during dance practice so we had fun and i wanted to go to the dance with her but she already has a date and when i found out, for the first time in my life my heart was broken. What should i do?

See that even though she has a date already if she is up to at least saving a dance for you. That way u get to be with her at the dance and gives you another change to get to know eachother more.

a date is just a date. Go to the dance solo and just focus on having a good time. Who knows, maybe you'll get a chance to dance with her or someone else that would make you smile.

Wait until the next dance and ask her then. It's just a dance not the end of the world. Doesn't mean you can't talk to her and become friends in the meantime.

ask her for a date later maybe she just never gave you much thaught as her date or maybe she wasnt sure if ud ask her
