I've tasted the Arbor mist kind and white zinfandel(sp?) and I didn't like them. They tasted too dry, if I remember correctly and leaves a funny after taste in my opinion.

if you are looking for a fruit explosion in your mouth, then look no further as Italy's Tuscan region has the solution in a great local selection that I had at a local tasting just last Wednesday, Everybody loved it:
Teruzzi & Puthod Toscana White Terre di Tufi 2004 will fill your pallate with a fruit expolsion and spectator says you shouldn't pay a dime over $22 for it.

Most of the white and blush wines (pink) are sweet. The best wine for sweet and sugary taste is a white wine called Johannesburg Riesling. Robert Mondavi makes a great Riesling. Now, you may be talking about a really cheap wine that you had.....sounds like it may have been a white zinfandel. Zins are usually sugary and ordered by amateur wine drinkers. I hope this helps a little.....it really doesnt take much to learn about wine. Its more than just matching it with the right meat. Learning about wines and having the knowledge makes you feel slightly more refined I think.

Theres a fruity wine (red, not white, sorry) called Lambrusco (pronounced Lam-Broose-Co) that I think is good. I was introduced to it years ago by a friend of mine who knew I didn't usually like red wine but liked more fruitier ones and sangria. I loved this one and enjoyed the taste of it. Hopefully if you try it you'll like it. Sorry I couldn't suggest any fruity white wines.

Any sangreia are sweet and fruity. Also the rislings are sweet some are fruity. they both are inexpensive, do not get one of the large jug wines, they are not a good taste of a sweet wine.

Try Franzia's red sangria. A good mix of fruity reds and sangria. Tastes great chilled too.
