"Blessed are those who mourn..."
2006 has been the most difficult year of my entire life (my youngest daughter spent three months in a hospital an hour drive from my home). Yet, has also been a year where I've experienced God's love more than any other.
I don't think God is doing anything different. In challenging times, when all ego is stripped away, there is God, waiting for us with open arms, welcoming us home.

More grace? No. God's grace is the same for all who accept it. However, those who suffer and are martyred for their belief in Jesus will be rewarded during the Judgment.

Wow, that's a neat question. Hmm..... I'd say if that was the case then grace would be based on suffering and that's not what it's based on. It's based on accepting Christ and repenting of your sins, so I'd have to say no. That's my final answer. lol

Not more 'Grace' but he does give them extra comfort when they are in Heaven.

I think that he does, especially if they are accepting and gracious when it comes to their suffering, instead of being bitter and resentful to God and everyone around them.
