people accused of treason, heretics, witches, queen just didn't like you, etc etc.......used to routinely be drawn and quartered, deboweled, burned at the stake. Most of these people who died the most brutal deaths were hardly criminals.

NOW, the worst raping murdering, serial killing, torturing scum of the earth is given every comfort.

Don't you think it's so unfair that not long ago people were routinely put to horribly painful deaths who didn't deserve it,
and now we dont' use these forms of punishment on those who truly deserve it?

There is no justice.

There is no justification for those kinds of punishments. They were wrong then, they are wrong now.

If that's the case we'd all deserve it. After all, who's without fault, and who are we to say that one sin is greater than the other. Or what if some of them are truly repentent? Don't they deserve the offering of forgiveness just like we do? I spent Friday night at a prison as a ministry opportunity with my church and met some people who absolutely changed the way I think about people who've committed such crimes. Sure they should deal with the consequences, but some of them have really changed their lives around since then. Just something to think about.

It seems there is justice because every rational person can denounce the injustices of the past and make sure they are not repeated in the present.

Just as much as the many innocent people that were throw to the lions, or nailed to the cross, or push off bridges.

yeah i can hear what you're saying and it's kind of aggravating that some of these people get away with the things that they get away with which is why i'm agnostic i'm questioning the existence of god whether he or she is real or if he or she isn't real maybe when the time comes god if real will deal with these people in his or her own way
