This may sound crazy, but your soap and shampoo can cause excess oil to be excreted from your hair follicles.
Many (most name-brand) shampoos and soaps contain chemicals that strip your body of its natural oils each time you use them. Over time, your follicles / pores respond by producing more and more oils that your body / hair may not need.
If you've used these types of products all your life.. and make changes to more natural products - it could take months, even a few years, for your to body to balance fully itself out.
I don't know of too many products off the top of my head... but can recommend "Tom's of Maine" and "Body Shop" as places to start.
Hope this helps in some way..

I know it sounds totally gross, but trust me it REALLY works and this is coming from someone who knows and had tried EVERYTHING! Take an egg (any type/brand) bust into some type of bowl big/small (depending on how many you use)...then take a spoon and dip the yellow out of it to were there is just the clear looking stuff. After you have discarded the yellow section take a fork and beat the clear stuff until it feels/looks thick and is foamy then take your hand and dip into it and place a light portion on to the oily parts on your face...leave it on long enough to dry and feels like your face is really tight..then take a warm wash cloth and wash the stuff off your face. Not only does it keep your face from becoming oily it also makes your face feel sooooo smooth!!

Half an hour before taking your bath apply on your face half teaspoon each of lime and cucumber juice mixed together.
If your skin is excessively oily, mix in a few drops of eau de cologne. This not only helps keep oiliness away but also helps in refining the pores of the skin by acting as astringent, thereby preventing acne.
To prevent the problem of your makeup becoming patchy either on the forehead, chin or nose due to excessive oiliness in these areas, apply a little cucumber juice on the excessively oily parts of your face, dry thoroughly and then apply your makeup.
If your whole face turns patchy after makeup is applied on it, then apply equal parts of lime juice and witch-hazel. Dry well before putting on your makeup.
Choose an astringent that contains acetone, which is known for dissolving oil. Strong astringents will do more harm than good, stimulating an overproduction of oil.
To clear away excess oil, use a clay or mud mask. Blend together well 1 teaspoon green clay powder and 1 teaspoon raw honey. Apply the mixture to your face, avoiding the eye area. Leave it on for fifteen minutes, then rinse well with lukewarm water. Do this at least three times a week--or more.
Once or twice daily, mix equal parts of lemon juice and water together. Pat mixture on your face and allow it to dry, then rinse with warm water. Follow with a cool-water rinse.

Facial complexion? Wash it alot but not to often, in a nice gentle soap. Gentle. so that if you're gonna use it alot it won't cause alot of itching or scaling.
Now, get one with a high rinsability. 100 percent glycerin soap from Sonoma County is good, and it is on the web. Health food stores carry it to.
Or Tom's of Maine! That has very soothing herbs and is formulated for oily too.
Keep you're hair back with combs, barretts, etc. Or tie it, or keep short but well off of the face.
You can use witch hazel around the hair line, being careful not to get it anywhere near you;re eyes.
Near the hairline, I have used peroxide, but it's not recommended. I do it anyway and that really works and lightens skin tone as well.
Not good before sun! Peroxide makes more burning. That's about it. Works for me. Good Luck!

Wash as quickly as and basically as quickly as an afternoon with a product like Deep action Cream cleanser by utilising clean and clean. in case you wash extra the floor will think of that's drying out and bring extra oil. Use witch hazel or yet another astringent 2-thrice an afternoon, basically splash it on and distribute approximately face neck and at the back of ears, it tones the floor, and decreases pores. in case you have an zits undertaking use an over the counter cream without alchohol yet basically some situations each and every week or with breakouts. back it is going to dry out the floor and in reaction the floor will react by utilising producing extra oil. in case you prefer to pass as far as to possibility walking down the make up aisle on the save, women folk are given those moistined tissues that take up oil once you employ it like a serviette everywhere in the face.

St. Ives medicated scrub costs 5 bucks or less, and is wonderful for your face. It doesn't dry your skin out like some of the acne stuff does, but it really helps with oil, at least for me.

I am not a rep for Mary Kay, but I use their Oil Mattifier. Just a little bit on the oily areas of your face and you won't even need powder.

You can use proactiv. It really works. Also, make sure you wash your hair every night and wash your pillow case often. If your hair is oily, your face will be too. Oily skin can not only be caused by what foods you eat, like pizza. But it can also be caused by genetics.
