I'm doing a project and it says i should do a comparison on this...
I'm not really sure what to say, and ideas would be appreciated

Gravity causes you to feel a force of acceleration just like a centrifuge. If you are on a merry go round, you will feel a force pulling you away from the center of rotation, and you will also feel a "force of accelration" due to gravity. So your "net" pull would be on a diagonal. If you were holding a weight on a string, it would hang straight down standing still. On the merry go round, it would start to swing out, but no matter how fast you spun on it, it would never swing straight out. Also, if you put the merry go round on its side, you would feel gravity increase the force on the lower side, and decrease the force on the top.

In space, there would be no gravity (we would assume), so the force you felt would be directly away from the center, and uniform in all directions.

They work just exactly the same in both environments.
