I find that witch hazel works. Also vaseline worn for a couple of hours and clay masks. Tea tree oil also helps and taking vitamins without iodine, exercise, drinking lots of water, getting lots of rest and trying to stay away from refined sugars, flour and white rice, dairy and caffiene help too.

good luck.

Buy some witch hazel and using single cotton balls wash each one and throw away the cotton, then use another one for the next one. This will cool and it is an astringent and a natural PH balancer. You can then use dabs of antibiotic ointment on each pimple at night. They are caused by bacteria and washing all over the face spreads the bacteria. Wash hands before touching the face at all with hot soapy water and pay attention during the day about touching your face, without washing your hands well first, and spreading germs the hands have picked up in restrooms, on doorknobs or any public place which has everyones germs all over them. People are not really that sanitary and with restrooms not having soap or clean bathrooms it's a wonder we all aren't sick. You can carry sanitizer just for such emergencies if you need to, even baby wipes are better than not washing. Good luck.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
