One of my cats has a very unusual behavior since he was just a little baby. He sits in front of people, facing them, looking up to the person and moving the eyes and the head like he is very curious about something, he looks for about a minute, and the person notices the cat strange behavior and thinks its funny. Then suddenly the cat jumps to the knee and starts climbing the person leg very calmly(like he is doing nothing wrong, just climbing a tree or something), hurting the person a little because of the claws, looking up, them finally reaches the shoulder and just stays on top of it with the four legs almost together but he can keep the balance, looking all around and like ignoring the person. I THINK HE IS CURIOUS OF HOW IT WOULD BE TO BE ABLE TO SEE FROM UP THERE LIKE HUMANS DO! The “victims” of my cat are shocked by his behavior but find it funny at the same time.
Any story about your kittens you would like to share?

My beloved cat who died earlier this year used to sleep with me. He took over the space on my pillow behind my head. A few times I woke up in the middle of the night to find I was holding hands with him. He had wrapped his paw around my index finger. Several times I also woke up when he tried to push my head off the pillow with his feet.

Ha ha! Weird behavior, I've never seen a cat do that before. My cat does some pretty strange things too. Sometimes, if I dropped a grape or some sort of round object, my cat would chase it around the room and pretend to play "ping-pong" with it. Another odd behavior is when we ever have ants in or house ( which is rarely ) my cat would follow them and would put her paw up high and bring it quickly down on top of the ant ( almost if she were trying to squish them ) This is one of the reasons I love cats. You don't know what these furry little creatures are going to do next!

It was not rape, it was a show of dominance. The other cat was showing your's that he was in his house and he had to submit to him. Cats don't remember each other after so long. As far as your in laws' cat knew it was just a strange cat coming in to his territory.

cats are really smart!! my aunts cat used wait for new faces and when they came over he would pounce on them he was the demon from hell. lol then my old roommate had 3 cats and one of them i just couldnt stand and i love cats and 4 some reason the one i didnt like would always try 2 get in my room and hang out all day and want 2 sleep with me. ( i was nice 2 it, but i didnt like it) 2 sneaky just annoying and he used 2 sit on a chair when ever my dog would walk by he would swat him no matter how many times he walked by. that was kinda cute. just an instigator.

He thinks they're his own personal moving trees, lol! Try trimming his claws with a pair of claw trimmers (available at any pet supply store). Compared to that, my cats are rather boring. I have one who likes to ride in the car, but that's about it.

Your cat will rule the world soon.

I better warn my kitties who still expect me to pick them up in order to sit at my work table and watch me.

sounds pretty normal to me. At my house we call my kitten kunfu kitty because she will stand on her hind legs and bat at your leg as you walk by or she will flop on the floor and turn over and grab the bottom of your pant leg.

My last cat, Martha, would bite my leg and "yell" at me if I raised my voice to my husband.

She was a real Daddy's girl!
