Nope. Abdominal crunches build the muscles in your stomach however it's cardio exercises that burn fat. If you don't do cardio and concentrate on doing crunches you'll make your stomach bigger because the muscle will get bigger and the fat will remain. You have to do both cardio and crunches.

Yes...
If you do a hundred for 7 years
Then you will burn 1 pound
(1 pound is not a typo)
Do 100 crunches a day then check the scale in 7 years
You will have burned 1 whole pound!

Crunches only burn a minimal amount of fat. Crunches strengthen and shape the abdominal. You have to incorporate a good cardio routine into your health plan to burn off the necessary fat so you can actually see those abs.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

No. They help to tone your abs. You'd have to do a couple thousand to create an aerobic effect srtrong enough to burn fat. Try jogging instead.

Ask for the paper to be left towards the end of your driveway instead of because of your front door.
