te amo- spanish--- you could also say te quiero but that doesnt mean i love you, it kinda does because you are saying you love that person but not so big like te amo, thats the really big one, thats the exact translation to i love you. the problem here is that in english you dont have an i love you little just the big one.

You're probably more familiar with Spanish pronunciation than with French, so I'll try to spell the French out phonetically for you. Je t'aime = juh tem where the "j" sound is soft, like "zh."
