I am 18 years old and i am only 92 pounds. I have gained 7 pounds in the past 2 years. Which is NO LIE. I was very active when i was younger and played soccer for 4 years in highschool. Now that i'm in college i'm not as active. I am a size 32A and have tried so much to gain weight. I eat fast food A LOT and even that doesn't help. I would like some advice as to how to gain some weight. I don't work out much...if ever anymore. There is a gym at college. Do you think that would help me? and is my weight unhealthy. I'm also only 5'3" please help. THANKS

Lex, some people are naturally thin, and I don't believe you're unhealthy. You really can't go by some of the weight to body ratios, because they're really not accurate. Everyone is different...so much different that in my opinion there is almost no such thing as normal, relating to humans. You just may have a quick metabolism. If you're really worried you can go see a doctor, maybe he can do a thyroid profile, to see if your thyroids are working correctly. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it. Have a great day.

go to gnc and buy some powder weight gainer and make shakes with it its good for you and has a lot of protien. Fast food is never a good idea. Also i know that when girls go on birth control they gain more weight in their womanly areas because of the hormones or you could do it the old fashion college way and drink a lot of cheap beer and or 40s.... good luck

Try eating a lot of protein and working out. Don't eat a lot of fast foods because they are just fatty and if you don't work out you will get jiggly. Also, it seems like you have a very fast metabolism. My best friend is like that too...no matter how much she eats she can't gain weight. Ya, so my advice is lots of protein and a healthy workout.

Have you been to your doctor? You should be checked for thyroid disease and (intestinal) malabsorption disorders, among others.
