With the 3rd Commandment God tells us to Honor the Sabath. In Exodus 20:8-11 God Commands us:

hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
8 “ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."

I know people who do not have the Sunday paper delivered because they don't want to make anyone else work. Yes, I understand police, military, hospitals workers and many others have no choice but must work on this day. But do you honor the Sabath?

I honor the Sabbath, in that I worshipped today. I worked in my calling today. But I am not held to the law of the old, I am bound by the covenant of the new. I honor God, everyday. If I would have had to work, I would've, with a greatful heart.

If we were under old law, not even police military or hospital staff would have been excused.

If the Bible were true, then people would be stoned for working on the Sabbath. I noticed you selectively left that out of there so I'll add it in for you.

Not that it's any of your business, but today I worked in the soup kitchen to help feed those that your God forgot about.

there's no scripture that asserts you're able to bypass to church on any day. The regulation isn't abolished. we are nevertheless obligated to maintain the Sabbath. Are the Commandments abolished? ..........i don't think of so. (to not you, yet to the 1st Answerer) Esther, God likes it that we adore him and settle for his son. ......yet once you rather love him, does not you hold his commandments? Jesus says, "in case you like me, save MY COMMANDMENTS." John 14:15 Now to you, expensive Asker, The 4th commandment says to maintain the Sabbath holy, that's the seventh day of the week, which all of us comprehend as Saturday. Sunday Christians and Sabbath Chrisitians are the two blessed, yet once you hold the Sabbath as laid out by the Bible, you're blessed extra in abundance.
