Love is getting up in the middle of the night when your spouse is throwing up...it's forgiving someone no matter what they have done...it goes beyond physical attraction and short-term feelings, -love never fails. It's not about sex. It's not based on how a person has treated you. Love is deeply caring for someone to the point of being willing to do anything for them, and never giving up. When I think of true love, I don't think of couples holding hands. I think about a person who is up at three in the morning selflessly caring for their sick spouse. Does this look like the short-term relationships of Hollywood couples to you?

Just as each of our VALUES can be different so can our definition of love be different.
Personally, I see love as a very spiritual thing. Someone else may see love as how compatible you are in living with someone.

I know different kinds of love.
One is the love towards your parents, your friends and other people, the love also Jesus has told us about to love our neighbours like ourselves.
The love you are thinking about is a very deep emotional feeling towards one single person.
The purest love is the love for God.
The meanest love is selfishness.

Love is the strongest feeling you can have for someone. It is the feeling that makes your hands sweat and you feel breathless around this person. Your heart jumps when you hear their name. Love means that you would die for that person. Love is Love.
