Yes, I know the pain. It's called your Sciatica Nerve. It starts in the very lower back and can run down the back of both legs or just one depending on the injury. It can also cause the tingling you mention. I've lived with this pain since 1988. Nothing much helps. You just have to learn to live with it.

I have 2 bulging disc's low down.the tingling can be nerve damage from the pressure of the disc on the nerve ending's in the spine.I have pain and sometime's numbness on the outside of my thigh. The top of my thigh can go numb if i lay on my back so i sleep on an air mattress on top of my mattress.I had the inflamation run all the way to my heel's and they hurt to walk on them.Did you get hurt at work?I got hit in the rear by another driver. You need an M.R.I.That will tell what's going on.Good Luck

Sounds like sciatica. You need to loosen up and stretch out the lower back and gluteal muscles to relieve the pressure on the sciatic nerve and it's roots. A physiotherapist or well-trained massage therapist would be great for you!

You need to exercise to relax your muscles. Don't sit or blend down your head for more than 2 hours. It can causes you stiff muscle and become pain. Always change the position of your body. Get up and walk around every 2 hours. I used to have this problem before.

Well a friend of mine who is a fitness instructor has just recommended the "miracle ball" to ease my stiff neck problem. I've just this hour ordered one from Amazon.com because it was cheap and I thought it was worth trying. The Amazon reviews talk about how it can relieve lower back pain too. You might want to check it out.

Could be the muscles, I know I used to get a tingling in my back whenever i was sitting for a long time because the muscles in my back weren't properly alligned and they weren't strong enough, causing all sorts of problems for me.

probably a bone out of place or you twisted the wrong way and hurt a muscle.
Try a chiropractor, they know how to fix it.
White Flower helps with the pain, you can get it at a health food store.
