unfortunately it is very possible and can most definitely happen. But I would not advise this at all.. It could kill her female as she is to small ,dealing with rescue dogs we have ran across this situation quite allot and even though there has been some live pups ,, the ordeal and the mother was quit horrible. Either she can only have one that will make it or the birth is so hard on her it causes internal hemorrhaging that can kill her ,, allot of times a c section is almost has adamant and with that you are looking at a great vet bill, I would separate her from the other dogs and unless you are a breeder , look for the same breed or have her spayed as soon as possible . Good luck, love your dog do the right thing.

Here's an answer from a vet: yes, the big dog can certainly impregnate a smaller female. Sometimes getting into position can be difficult, but they would probably find a way to do it. And it is true that if the puppies are too big, the mother could have complications and have to have a C-section.

As long as the female stands and the male penetrates there is a chance of fertilization. I have seen a Belgium horse breed a Shetland pony and produce an offspring.

I really don't think it would be possible for them to mate because the male is too big. If they could mate, the pregnancy or the whelping would almost surely kill her. Have the dos spayed ASAP. I once owned a male Chihuahua that bred a female german shepherd. It's okay if the male is the smaller one.

yes, but what a terrible idea. The small dog would be killed by the growing puppies inside her. It's hard to imagine a more torturous death!

Yes, I once was at the shelter looking for a dog, there was this dog that was a Papillion-Lab mix! It should work, although it makes me wonder lol.

yes it is possible you would have to be care ful because the pups could be to big & kill the female during birth.
