This guy asked me to a dance. I'm 17, he's 16, we're in the same grade and school. But, I'm not sure if he wants to get romantically involved too, as in bf and gf. We talk some, and e-mail a lot. And, I e-d him that he could back out if he wanted and he said that's not an option. Then, I asked him why me and not some other pretty girl who goes to our school...I'm average looking, and he came up with a paragraph of reasons. Do u think he wants more that just to go to a dance? Should I ask him if he wants more, or just wait and see? Am I exaggerating a simple situation?

I want to be with him.

And not in a physical way. Teenagers doing that=eew!

If he came up with a paragraph on the spot of why he wants to be with you instead of more attractive girls at school, I think it is safe to say that he is interested in you. Relax and enjoy - take it as it comes.

Peace!

I suggest that you both just be friends for now. If there is something there, It will develop after time. If it doesn't; then it wasn't meant to be.
I hope it works out for you. (if that is what you want)
