I know that upon entry to the Philippines I will be granted a 21 day visa, prior to it's termination I know I can apply for an extention of 38 more days. I've also be told that I can get extentions in 2 month periods upto one year before having to leave. Since I don't know when I will leave, how is this arranged when I setup my fight into the country. Thanks for the help everyone. Very much appreciated!!!

I have always gotten a six month ticket and when i have decided when i am ready to leave i will contact the airline and set my date [according to flight availability]. you can leave after 1 week or 12 months. sometimes you may be charged a fee of between $50.00 to $100.00

you can purchase a two way ticket, and have the departure date open or you can also temporarily have a date and if you will extend your stay, just call the airline that you will extend your date of departure, but you will need to pay extra for an extension of your ticket.
