I like plasma better because the colors, contrast and picture are better. Vizio is an off brand of LG, and we had a vizio where I used to work, I didn't like the picture quality of it.

The LCD and Plasma part, it depends on how you use them. TVs for aircraft use LCD because high elevation screws up plasma or something like that.
I never heard of vizio, so i would go for panasonic. However because vizios are less heard of, they are generally cheaper then more well known brands such as panasonic and sony, even if their capacities are the same.

lcd is better and panasonic is better than vizilo
