i want to tell a friend my feelings for him; but i am extremely anxious at the prosepect that our friendship may change because of it.
How can i tell him, without making a fool of myself or losing him altogether?

If you have no clue at all that his feelings are similar then I would proceed very slowly. Do you ever go out for coffee? Are you ever alone together? What do you talk about? Find some opportunity to be alone in an informal setting and talk about feelings in general. See if you can get him to open up about his own emotional life these days. There may be a chance there to judge his interest and weigh out how well you stack up to what he says he is looking for. In the end, you may just have to take a chance. Otherwise, you will have to settle for always wondering what might have been. Good luck. :)

let him know that, no matter what, you don't want to lose the friendship. Then, just tell him what you wrote on here. But be as open and honest as you can, because why take a chance unless you express your true heart?

in case you extremely like him/her and he/she likes you decrease back then no thoughts can spoil a friendship. if that's basically an ok friendship then it may nicely be in probability, you need to seem at your friendship and word in case you imagine it ought to live on it. yet you'll under no circumstances understand until eventually you try <3 xx
