Would you like to visit Iran?
I am Iranian, I can assure you if you come to Iran, and mullahs will not kill you. But you might die by a car accident in Tehran or by air pollution
Take a look at this link and see if I am right or not?

I would love to vist Iran, see all and I am a 'student" of Persian culture as many here do not realize that what was Persia is now Iran.

I enjoyed the music; my grandparents came from a country not that far away: Croatia.

I am an "old soldier", seen war and most of the last century.

But I am also a human, a person who walks on the same earth as you. Yes, I saw the traffic, I have heard that the taxi cab drivers in Tehran actually control the country!

yes, I even know you have skiing! I am from Colorado!
But you have some of the greatest literature, poetry and art
of civilization, when Persia ruled the world, well the world was at peace. But I want none of that: respect.

But I am also as older, wiser, I hope. The issues we face today cloud, hide the greatness of your country from most.

Omar Khayyam is to me a close "friend", his words flowed so softly, and still are important. sadly few American's know who this man was.

I cannot locate the poem I wanted but it was one where Omar turned his cup over, I am sure you know but then he wrote so many great poems and words. I think the poem was about life, love an such and a "look back" upon life perhaps as a old man.

If you should ever wander by my home I would greet you as a friend.

In my life I do not think about who is running my country, I only value friends.

Peace

Salam, Chetori ? khobe? , I am american and have been there 3 times . I was treated like a KING , because its so cheap your people paid for everything and one family even gave me a 6 x3 metre hand made persian carpet which i fraighted home to CA. I was invited to stay at many houses to have lunch which is their main meal. I saw persepolis the first empire , yazed's mud citys, Bam the unfinnished project , Esfahan, Stayed in Tajreesh( one of the richist areas in tehran) in while in Tehran, went to the old american embassy which is amazing with what is is now .
Ate chello Kabab all the time, so frigging good, loaded up on fresh dates, pistachios cashews and Safron and went to the Tehran Bazar . that was an experince in it's self. Gas is 10 cents per litre a shared taxis only got cents to go for many amny mile miles. Loved midamard what a place , Ate stergon and caviar like is was going out of fashion up in chalus .

I was in india and had to get back via the part of the silk road so i went through Pakistan, Iran, and turkey.

Iranian people are so nice its amazing but the GOV sucks. The media has tricked all us americans and europeans into thinking IRanians are mad and crazy. What this lady states in other posts is very ture in the sense that iran is controlled by america. and when you go there you understand a whole lot more that its ture espically when you visit the defunked American embassy . ( no cameras were allowed )
most friendly people i have ever met! unlike us ignorent americans. Most of us are so stupid we are brainwashed by CNN FOX and ABC !

I'd love to visit Iran. I had a couple good friends from Iran a few years ago.

I lived in Oman for a year, Bahrain for six months and Dubai for six months.

But, I would not feel safe in Iran.

hi; a million- confident, it particularly is thoroughly secure, and you and all vacationers are welcomed. 2- in case you opt to pass to easily one city, and easily for Islamic agriculture, i could recommend Isfahan, yet Shiraz and Yazd are additionally very alluring and you could locate many vacationers there all seasons of the year, particularly is Spring. 3- Iran isn't high priced by using any potential (particularly in case you opt to evaluate Iran's Rial with Pound or dollar)! on the full I choose you a happy holiday. :) by using ways, Iranians do no longer placed on Burka! it particularly is an Arabic custom!

No offense, but with the way most of the Middle Eastern countries view America/Americans, I would never feel safe going there. I personally know Iranians who would never go there again just because of their religious beliefs. But, thanks for the invite...I think.
