The range of height in my family , for girls is 5 foot- 5 foot 7, my dad is 5 foot 8, my mother is 5 foot 1 and a half...my sister is 5 foot 2..., my young bro is 5'7

so why am i ONLY 4'11 , im 16 yrs. old

I'm the shortest in my family shouldn't I b a Little over 5 foot at Least like the rest of them!!??

can i grow still to b 5'3?

You still have time; I grew nearly two inches between the age of 17 and 21. I can't guarantee you'll be able to make 5'3", but there is still a chance that you could have a final growth spurt before your body stops growing and stays at its final adult height.

You will probably pass 5'3". At 16 you haven't finished growing. My brothers and my son filled out and grew up the most from 18 to 20 years old.

its weird i know my whole family is taller then me too and I'm only 4'11 also. I know there's no chance im gonna grow any taller b/c girls stop growing at 18 and ive reached that limit...but i do think boys stop growing at 21 so yeah you still have a chance to get taller

You are still growing. You also want to look and see how tall your grandpas are. At 16, you are about at your growth spurt, but not quite yet.

sorry but that can happen to some people and people stop growing around 14
