I have a sore throat and my skin hurts like I have a fever. I have exams tomorrow and I really don't want to be feeling like this in the morning. Any suggestions? I already anticipate getting plenty of sleep. Should I exercise? Am I supposed to continue to eat normally or do I restrict my diet?

Hmm ... not sure you will be making those exams. if you are ill, get a certificate from your doctor to say so and then you should be awarded an estimate mark. If you have the 'flu (the fever suggests it might be) then you must not push yourself and DEFINITELY NO EXERCISE!

Now, BED!!!

Eat normally and rest.

Gargle your throat with Listerine or 1/2 a teaspoon of salt mixed in a cup of warm water. Gargle a couple of times before going to bed.

Take a warm bath/shower before going to bed to bring down your feverishness. I would also take an aspirin.

Good luck with your exams.

Sore Throat
Once when I was 13 years old, I had a sorethroat, I couldnÕt speak. I remember that my mother made me a remedy with honey and lemon. After I drank this remedy, I slept and speak better. My mother tell me, is last time that you Damp.

Once when I was a child I was very sick. I had a very bad cough and sore throat and I couldn't eat. I remember that my mother was very worried. She put Bell cream (a Mexican cream made from apples) on me. She put oil in my throat. After that I went to the doctor because I had a lot of pain in my throat.

Just drink plenty of fluids and get your sleep. If your throat still hurts take a pain killer.
