I live in Long Island and would really love to find a place to adopt a scottish terrier. I searched online and couldn't find anything. Can anyone help, please?

This link has a list of scottish terrier rescue groups in the NY area, maybe one is close. It's from the website of the scottish terrier club of america. I highly recommend rescue dogs in general, I've got 2 and they're the best dogs I could ever want. Just be careful, there are rescue dogs that came from horrible situations that may not be the best pets, so know what you're getting into before you choose your dog.

ask around for a scottish terrier rescue. if there is not one in your state then call all the dog kennels in the area and ask if the have one

you can find one in a shelter..go to petsfinder.com and see if you can find one.you can tell them what you want and they will send you pictures as they come into the shelter..also their dogs are up to date on shots and are not sick..hope this helps
