Schizophernia is a very bad illness. Wait til you are closer to your date. He needs to understand you before the illness. Just remember it's difficult for human beings to understand something that they have never experienced. So don't blame them. You never know. I think that true love can trancend anything. Just don't pass on your genes. I wouldn't.

Making people aware of this upfront could save you time and effort in the long run.
Some people will be averse to having contact with someone who has schizophrenia.
Some people might not care.
Personally, I would want to make something known as a way to wade through the people who might not be able to see past it later on.

imagine what it should be like in case you've been married to her. i do not recommend to sound harsh yet try now to not fall into the capture of denial, She is what she is and that i have regularly occurring some those who had schizophrenia and regrettably they could't replace. i do not recommend to throw her lower than the bus yet with somewhat of luck she will be able to get help at the same time with her difficulty. you're soliciting for a existence of chaos in case you proceed seeing her. good success

I don't think tht all are ready to listen to u.U cannot tell it to everyone u meet. This scares people who are not aware and avoid getting involved with these personalities. So let others criticise u by your general personality and not by the label stuck on u.There must be trust in your relationship to open yourself otherwise I think u will receive more pain than expected.I think this is for normal people too.U don't say hi my vulnerable point is this...this..this...this...but mostly this..!Do people with small penus let u know wht they own? No.Do they feel tht they are harming others by not making them aware of their disadvantage? No.This is not a case of leting others ignorant but of protecting yourself from prejudice.ok?

I think you should tell them. it will save you from lot of troubles and feeling hurt later. if the person wants to be with you, they will stay by ur side anyway. It is better to say it from the beginning, because if the guy doesn't want to see you again, because of your illness, than it is better if he leaves you before you both fall in love.

meeting guys threw personals open invitation for emotions to be hurt but if you insist on doing that would consider telling myself not to have high expectations and be slow and easy and when it is something serious then tell just be careful you are setting yourself up to be hurt by going threw personals

Yes, tell him. It could save a huge ammount of hurt feelings and misunderstandings later. Meanwhile, if you haven't already, get help for yourself.
Good luck.

Be upfront, but tell them EXACTLY how the disability affects you. You may take meds (which I hope you do) and may not have the severe side effects that your date may expect. Good luck!
