If I call you Semaver without calling you a semaver or the semaver, does that mean you do not exist? Of course not! It's all in the grammar. I do not call my husband a (name here) or the (name here), and quite frankly it sounds silly to do so. Proper nouns are never accopmanied with "a" or "the."

No! "the" and "a" doesnt mean God is nonexistent! Leaving off the and a, means Self-Existent. He is!

Moses ask God a question in Exodus 3:13, notice his question: And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

However, notice God's reply (and it wasnt "the" God or "a" God, it was God's reply!

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

I Am = Self Existent One.

Mankind uses "the" and "a" But Not God. For he is not "the" God or "a" God. He is God!

STOP ASKING ALREADY ANSWERED QUESTIONS! The grammatical fine points of the English language are so irrelevant in the whole scheme of things I can't believe I'm still answering this repeated question!
