I make homemade carmel cinnamon buns by scratch along with fresh fruit salad and coffee. It's a family tradition in our house.
Breakfast sounds great in your house too. Merry Christmas!

Coffee while opening pressies, then croissants stuffed with scrambled eggs and either good bacon or smoked salmon - all washed down with champagne! Once the meat is in the oven its time for a bracing dog walk along the beach and then home for part 2 of breakfast which is more champagne and all the choccies, nuts and olives that are dotted around the house!

Its the only way to start the day!

We try to change things around every year - last year, we had a breakfast strata; the year before that we made egg nog french toast with Hawaiian bread, and this year we are having pumpkin pancakes with sausage. Lots of coffee, and then we just have snacks for the rest of the day.

For breakfast on Christmas day, we tend to have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or a nice bit of home-cured ham with associated pickles, served with champagne. A perfect start to Christmas day, and lasts until the main Christmas meal in the late afternoon. Yum - looking forward to it already!

As little as possible as a big spread will be laid out in the afternoon & want to save room! Coffee & might try a Tim Tam slam (or ten) since I was given some for Christmas.

Usually we have a pot of good coffee, home made pancakes, straky bacon and maple syrup. Then we chase all that with chocolate. Sounds like a lot but we don't eat dinner til about 3.30 pm and we're usually up with our little boy from about 6am

We usually have a fry up, with pancakes and maple syrup. It's the only day of the year we have a fry up, and lunch gets served late in our house (around 6pm) so people need a big breakfast to see them through the day.

I used to have something really glamorous like scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on brown bread toast. However now we've got kids - it's usually very little!! We just grab some toast or pastres or this year we might stretch to a crispy bacon sandwich and a cuppa!

Fresh Bagels, hot corn muffins, coffee and orange juice. My cousin always has Christmas Day breakfast so her two kids can open their gifts and we adults try to stay awake ;0)

English breakfast (my mum & daughter), hot croasants and hot chocolate for the rest, so there is enough space for the amount of chocolate we all have during the day.

P.s. Merry Christmas
