I'm researching my family history. It turns out my genealogy shows I come from a long line of chicks who lied about ther ages !
3 of them apparently never even told their husbands or kids until they were dead or over 90 !
Its kinda funny but also surprising.

Why do so many women lie about their ages and pretend theyre younger ?
Is it so they seem more attractive ?
My brother was dating a chick and everyone thought she was 30, turns out she was 40.
Her looks didnt change but my attitude towards her did just because of a different number. I actually feel stupid judging her by a random number.
Is it a huge sin , a big deal to fudge ones age ?

It never ceases to amaze me how many women actully do lie about their age. I'm single and do the online dating thing on match.com and yahoo personals and I'd say that about half of the women in my age group (40's) shave up to 5 years on average off their real age yet then cop to it in their comments. The reason they do this is so when guys are entering search parameters they will say put in 35-45 for the range of profiles they want to look for so a woman who's 46 wouldn't come up in the search so she puts in 44 in her age up top to get around the search engine but then states down below that she's really 46 in an attempt to rationalize the lie. I steer clear from those women because to my way of thinking if going to employ deceipt in any form on something so basic then she going to use those same methods in a relationship on much bigger things.

Pressure from society. Society makes a women think that if she isn't young she isn't good enough.

People should think for themselves. If you judge someone based on their age, that's rediculous. Like her for who she is, not how old she is. Sheesh...we ALL get old. What's the big deal?
