I have mastered sliding the remote (or the camera or my wallet, etc) out from under them very carefully so as not to disturb the sleeping angels!

I don't have to suffer bad TV because one of them is sleeping on the remote but i do have to watch any programmes that are about animals if the oldest cat sees it while i am flicking through the channels .

Not really. Usually my Bengal is trying to eat the remote or change the channal, My Seal point Siamese is trying to rip out my hair and my male Siamese is engrossed in whatever is playing on Animal Planet! I don't get to watch tv, it belongs to the cats!

It's not a problem for my cat to wake her just for a moment to take remote. She doesn't show anger and continues sleeping.

Never had to but would if it happened. Because she sleeps in strange places, the whole family goes to great length to make sure she's not disturbed. She takes her sleep very seriously and I think she might have a chance in the cat Olympics sleep competition next year.

I very gently slide the remote from under the soft belly and give my kitty a kiss.

LOL, depends whether the cat would get me if i tried to remove the remote. I don't like to disturb when he's asleep, so cute and means peace and quiet, hee hee!

Not any more. I have a container on the end table that I put the remotes in, end up. (Keeps the boys from "spraying" on the remotes, too.)

Such a funny question! I even sleep in awkward positions on the bed, so the cat doesn't get woken!
