Yes, it depends on your prescription. There are some new procedures available without having to go though LASIK. One is an intra-ocular implant. Procedure is very similar to cataract surgery where they remove your lens, but an implant lens is inserted in it's place that will allow you to have both distance and near vision without ever having to buy another pair of glasses.
