i have moved next to a kyoto restaurant and they have this killer white sauce. The food is basically teriyake chicken and rice, but the sauce is awesome. It makes the whole meal worth eating.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to make it.

It's called Yum Yum sauce. Here's the recipe:

YUM YUM SAUCE
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons melted butter
3/4 teaspoon paprika
3/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix everything together and refrigerate!

Ingredients 1 cup mayonnaise 3 tablespoons white sugar 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons melted butter 3/4 teaspoon paprika 3/8 teaspoon garlic powder Directions 1 In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, white sugar, rice vinegar, melted butter, paprika and garlic powder. Mix well, cover and refrigerate.

1 clove garlic
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chilli sauce (heinz)
1 teaspoon of dry or regular mustard
1/8 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
2 teaspoons of lime (real limes)
chop the galic then put them all in a bowl and mix well. refrigerate for about an hour then put in the freezer for a half hour.

OR
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon milk
3/4 teaspoon paprika (or 1 teaspoon ketchup)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

In my opinion I would only put 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar and replace the 3rd one with milk. By doing this it will calm the taste of the vinegar. Also change 3/8 teaspoon garlic powder to 1/2. Another note is if you don't have paprika you can replace it with 1 tsp of ketchup.
