Pro-flush or no-flush?

Question

When you use the bathroom in the middle of the night, do you think its better to flush and possibly wake the other people in the house up, or to not flush and have the other people possibly see a bowl of pee the next morning? I've always thought you MUST flush, but I've recently encountered a couple people who don't flush (much to my disgust when I see it in the morning).

Flush a poopie or if there's more than one person in the house. I live alone, so I only flush every 2-3 pees. I pee alot and don't see the need in wasting water.

That depends on the standards in your household, what people are used to. In some households, it is regarded as less offensive to find a bowl of pee in the morning than to be woke in the night by the sound of flushing, in other households, vice versa. Also it depends on whether or not the people using the bathroom are related by blood and/or marriage. People who are not related have different immune systems and so would be more offended by seeing housemate's pee. By extension, if you are a guest in someone else's home, I'd say, flush.

I have more than one bathroom in the house, and I have my own, so I leave it until morning, after all I walk up to the toilet, lift go, then flush
no one cares but me
and I do not wake anyone up at night

i say- if it's #2 defidently flush- if it's just a little pee, and isn't that noticeable- don't flush. I guess it depends on the people that you live with though. I am a light sleeper and if a noise wakes me up in the miidle of the night, i have trouble falling back asleep. Just ask your roomie if they are a light or heavy sleeper-

ifs its nasty then flush, but if its pee and u don't want to wake the others then don't flush it, just make sure u make it to the bathroom first in the morning so no one sees it.

Flushing will make too much noise. Now, if it's a #2, well yes by all means flush!

Did you know urine has acid, potassium in it and does a # on your toilet let's say if you leave it to sit there overnight?

I would definitely flush because that is just commone courtesy. I think they would be more aggravated to see urine than to hear the sound of the toilet flushing at night.
