I have a standard definition TV, and I'm looking for a new indoor antenna. Will I get any reception using an HDTV antenna? Obviously I wouldn't get HD quality picture, but would standard channels come in? I may get an HDTV in the future, and I don't want to have to buy another antenna. Thanks!

The antenna is just a receiver of RF signals and yes it can receive both SD and HD signals.

Make sure you go to http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx to select the best antenna for your house and where to point

You do not need the converter box any longer, that was only required if you had an old tv to convert the digital signal back to analog. You connect the cable directly to the tv. Then you have the tv search and program all the channel to the tv, you can find the instruction on your new tv. If you do not have HD program with your cable or disc network the tv picture might not be quite as good as if you had HD. Hope this will help you out.

No, it will not but a hanger will. So just save your money by using a hanger.
