most people make this world better by departing.

Where does it say we have to leave the world better than we found it when we die? Why should we feel a responsibility to make the world a better place? I feel no obligation to this crappy world to do anything for it.
I may do a few nice things, but I'll do them for the same reason all people do good things, selfish reasons.
And to mainworry: You sure are in your own world.

Like Mother Theresa said, we cannot all do great things, but we can all do small things in a great way. Do any small good thing whenever the opportunity arises, and don't keep track, let God keep score. Braggarts have already received their reward, as Jesus said. Doing one's best at whatever one does, spreading a little kindness and positivity whenever possible, has a ripple effect. Who knows where the ripples may go?

Why would you need to? Everything of this old world gets destroyed in the end by God. The only thing God and Christ ask us to do is learn his word and teach it, or do you think they are wrong?

Lots and lots of trees planted, Older folks in my care, flowers blooming and delivered to homes, dogs and cats adopted. Too simple for most people to think important, I'll admit. But that's what I do.

teach others the wisdom and knowledge I have gathered in hopes it will not be lost and will help mankind be a little bit better off for my having been here on this plane of existence.
