HOW exactly does God exist "outside the rules of time and space"? I mean, I hear Christians assert this all the time but they never explain HOW it could be possible. They just..... SAY it as though the explanation as to "how" is self-evident... well it's NOT.

I've pondered that myself. I think his ultimate goal is for unity. I don't know why he chose things to be the way they are, if I did I think I would be one of his close advisors by now!;) But I'd like to add that, I don't believe it is pre-destined - that idea is quite depressing. However, it is true that we have free will but the question is whether we use that free will for good and eventually become unified spiritually or not. If not, we're in for a long haul. Seriously though, I think we are doing better than he might have thought a couple thousand years ago!
To Zero Cool; God is the creator of space and time therefore these two elements do not apply to him.
I agree with Nemesis that everything falls into place one way or another, but as being of God we have a choice as to how these things will fall into place for humanity. Sadly, we could single handedly make the earth so inhabitable that there would be no more honeybees nor spiders or we could catch ourselves and turn things around for the better.

He has a plan for people because He loves us. Many atheists will deny this because they don't get it. If you lived outside of time and space, and you were perfect, you would also create a plan for your dog. But since these rules don't apply to you, trust God.

Because He has order to things so that confusion won't take place. The statement is that God is NOT confined by time and space. There are rules to time and space and He has control of them.

Honeybees that make their hives hold the honey without falliing apart. Spiders that can make webs with a draftmen's plans.

It depends on your prospective in life. If you beleive in god like i do, then there wouldn't be no need to question god. If your looking at this worldy , i have to say that we don't know all the rules in time and space yet, we just do n't know at all, i mean black holes correct me if i'm wrong speed up time and eleminates planets and sends them somewhere we don't even know! lol its crazy out in space, but yeah it depends what plan your talking about, if u mean a plan for us human beings, i'm honestly not sure but i know i love god :) lol that's all that matter to me.

Because he can transcend and enter space and time if he wills. If he wants he can totally skip 1,000 years or slow one day down to a thousand years. God is a supreme being, he can do many things that can scarcely be pondered.

Because *we* don't exist outside of time and space. God's plan is for humanity, not himself...

I need to correct you on one thing, if I may. God has no plan. Yes, there are church people who claim God has a plan, but read the Old Testament, particularly Genesis; there it will become evident to you that God has no plan.

But do no be alarmed, you can still sing "Jesus Loves Me" to your children.
