Yes. I have had many of the desires of my heart answered. Not always to my liking, but always better than I expected.
I believe there are only 3 answers to prayer:
"Yes"
"Not quite yet" and
"I've got something better in mind"
All of my prayers - upon reflection - have had these answers.
Of course - our greatest desires will be reserved for when we get to heaven
blessings

yes not in all the aspects of the bible...but the promise for peace of mind in his children...it's amazing because I was a victim of really bad abuse (we're not going to get into that) and it consumed my every thought and move until I got save and now I have an overwhelming peace and joy in my life

YES....! Especially These...!
(1Thessalonians 3:3-4) That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
(1Th 3:4) For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
AND....
(John 15:18-to-23) If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
(Joh 15:19) If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
(Joh 15:20) Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
(Joh 15:21) But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
(Joh 15:22) If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
(Joh 15:23) He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
Thanks, RR

I have seen so many of God's promises for mankind if they do His will, that I couldn't name them all. I have learned that when you do God's will, he will bless you in awesome ways if you see his blessings and opportunities He gives us.

Which promises? Are there not some "punishment" promises that no one would want? I can't answer this without more info
