I did this this year over the summer, and I really enjoyed it. Been growing my hair since second grade (now in seventh). I missed my hair a lot, but it feels good to give it to someone. Anybody else done this before? If so, did you like it?

I donated for my birthday in August of 2005. I have cut it several times since then but have decided to grow it again and donate again. It will take several years to grow out as I have it in lengths and the shortest from my bangs is just to the bottom of my nose now.

I really enjoyed donating my hair for someone else to use. After all it is just hair and I am healthy enough to regrow it. It gave me a break from the long hair look to short and sassy. Now I am comfortable enough and ready to let it grow again.

Gave my daughter's hair when she was in 2nd grade. It had never been cut & was down to her waist. She hasn't grown it out much because she says that she never wants long hair again. It's a great cause that I wish more people knew about. Our friend's daughter has donated twice & my 38 yr. old friend just donated her hair-yeah!

I know A LOT of people from my school that sported short hair last year..everyone's hair has almost grown back and I've heard that they really liked it and may do it again.

I donate money to St. Baldrick's Day, where people shave their heads for Childhood Cancer. I congratulate you on your generosity.
