"G" as in giraffe. I have always heard it pronounced "Jillian" I have always supposed that this is the root name for those nicknamed or named "Jill".
When you call her, just ask her which way she pronounces her name. She is probably used to people not being sure, and would appreciate being asked, rather than having to correct you.

Gillian is just pronounced like Jillian, there isnt anything different than spelling!

It's one of my favourite names, I can never decide if I like it better pronounced Lenn-ah or Lee-nuh, I like both the same so I just say whatever comes out. Lol

im pretty sure its a g as in girl gill ian but then again i guess it could be more like a j with the g as in giraffe... so itd be more like jill ian but you think if it was that its be a j not a g, but idk, i think its like g in girl...
