with my hands

They are tools that are dangerous in the wrong hands. Of course cars would also fall under this rubric, and thong bathing suits, and most especially, the written or spoken word. But guns are the most obviously dangerous of these. They're good to have in a tight corner, and a .22 revolver saved my husband from a dog attack a couple years ago. (I live in the country, and I carry a .22 to go on walks because of the very real possibility of animal attacks--lots of rabies around here, too.) I suppose the threats are different in the cities, but, properly used, a gun can be a lifesaving tool! (I also enjoy target shooting and look forward to the day when I can shoot the letters "VR" in a box like Sherlock Holmes does in his wall...).

They have their place, and the main ones are either in the hands of a policeman, the military, or of a hunter during hunting season, or in the locked gun cabinet where they are safely kept away from kids. They do not belong in the gang member's hands, drug lords, etc.

I feel the same way about guns as I do about any other tool. Properly used , no problem.

People misuse them for their own wicked deeds so much that some of them aren't on the naughty list, they are on the EVIL LIST, a list reserved for only a few sickos.

I stopped delivering guns after Vietnam, too many kids were using them in too many ways.

They can protect the innocent.

Possession on a gun by Multi convicted should be a death penalty.

Firing squad would be appropriate.

I think guns are tools and have a good use like any tool. I am aware that that purpose is easily perverted... Jim

I have Several, and as a Born Again Christian, I would NOT FEEL ANYTHING ABOUT IT = = BUT COMPELLED TO USE IT, = = to Protect Life, in any case that would be "IDHL" [Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health]

I also use one in my Workplace.

I believe people should be allowed to own registered firearms as long as they take a course of some kind as to how they should be properly handled.

Guns aren't a problem. It's the people that use them that cause (or don't cause) problems.
