OK we've only just met. I'm totally bessotted with him. H's gone home to see his family for Christmas. He's sent me a couple of text messages but how many can I send him without scaring him off!
Do I play it cool and wait til he texts me or so I just become a text pest so he knows I am keen?

Play it cool sweetie, don't become a text pest, you don't want to lose him before it's even started! I'd text him back after he's text you, but don't stop yourself from getting in touch with him.... he's probably thinking the same thing! Text him to let him know you're thinking of him, just don't text too much! x

When my boyfriend and I had just met he would send me a "<3" every so often just to let me know he was thinking of me. I recommend doing that one day, and maybe a ":) How's it going?" another day type of thing. I wouldn't text him more than once a day if he isnt responding, but if he is then that's usually an OK to calling him at that time or responding back. A text convo shouldnt be more than 3 texts each though, especially if you guys have just met. This will keep things fresh.
If you are going to text more than 3 times just call him.

Um excuse me..... Play it cool girl, play it cool. He needs to CHASE you, not the other way round. Any bloke will be scared off if you let him know you are besotted with him. For every two texts he sends you, you send him ONE ... if he's "lucky".... Show your interest with your ONE text but keep it cool.....no matter what!!! Flick through a book called "The Rules" available at any good bookstore if you want to land the man of your dreams..

dont bombard him with texts reply when he sends u one and if he hasent text u all day wait til the next day to send a text saying something like hope ur having a good time x

if u make ur self to available u will scare him off if u must answer the txt wait about 30 mins before you answer. i say try not to text him till the next day don't make ur self an easy lonely waiting by the phone target because men never stick around for that

Send a message once every two or three days, just to see how he's doing. This amount won't scare him off.

definately mainly take it in turns. you need to find something to do that will distract you from texting him - do lots of shopping and try and forget your phone, have lovely long baths (without your phone) - otherwise you'll keep thinking about him and wanting to text him and then text him and you'll send loads!!!
i'm sure you can let him know you're keen by what you put in them (take ages thinking what to write how to write it etc if you can't distract yourself from your phone)

It depends on the content. If they're just matey messages then you can send as many as you want. If they're all about how much you're missing him, then keep the count low or you will frighten him off.

just send him a text just to se how he's doing and how are things going there.Don't get text crazy,you will probably scare him off.
