You're right, it DOESN'T make sense. They are one, but they are three, but they are three in one, which makes them three AND one, etc etc etc...... it's really freakin' incomprehensible and just plain silly.

God is 1. The Father, 2. The Son Jesus and 3. The Holy Spirit

It is called the Trinity. The Father is Spirit and cannot be seen.
Jesus is God in the flesh and He can be seen. The Holy Spirit is God inside of us.

Read the Bible. The most interesting book you will ever pick up.
We serve an awesome God.

It makes perfect sense within the doctrine of the Trinity.
1)God the Father's voice from the sky.
2)Jesus coming up out of the water after being baptized by John.
3)The Holy Spirit alighting on Jesus in the form of a dove.

A rare Gospel glimpse of the Trinity being manifest all in the same place at the same time.

Jesus is the Son of God, not God it self. When Jesus was on earth he always claimed to do his father's will and never claim to be his father. Yes, he did said to similar in thinking and to have same ideas, but never claim to be the only true God.

Example: When Jesus replying to the religious leaders in John 10:34-36 he said he was Son of God.
Jesus was inferior in God also in knowledge, when he was explaining the date of last things he said in Matt. 24:36 that only his father knew not him or any angel.

Also in Deut. 6:4 mentions: 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

ONLY ONE GOD not three

Hmmm...don't you think that God is capable of being more than just what we humans can be?

For instance, not prone to the limitations of time and space that we are? Or can be in more than one place in more than one version at a time? I think humans think very "small" sometimes and that we cannot possible comprehend the ALL that is God and the ALL that is possible for God.

Just like how you have a mind, body and spirit. There is God the Father(mind), God the son(body) and God the Holy Spirit(spirit). It was just the Father talking and besides its God so why cant he be in heaven and on Earth at the same time?

Last I heard God could be in more than one place at a time. Did something change?

Jesus is the son of God. Please put down your video game joystick long enough to realize you have been robbed of your choice to believe or generate even the slightest shred of faith. You can thank socialism for this, but why should you care.

Jesus isn't God, he is the Son of God.

This is what you get when you have clear polytheism but you don’t like polytheism so you call it “trinity” and this allows you to take the “persons” of your gods and make them one and this how you hope to get away with it lol.
