I have an appt. tomorrow to get my hair colored/dyed/highlighted...whatever. I have never done anything to my hair, and I am ready for something new. I have really dirty blonde almost brown color hair, and a fair complexion face, and i was just wondering what I should do to my hair. I don't want any funky color, you know like not natural looking, but I want to change it to where it looks like I changed it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Why not a soft light brown to give it a fall look. And don't put any highlight are out dated. One solid color would be your best bet. The light brown would differently be a change from the blonde you have already. Its going to look great.

You are lucky; your base color is perfect to allow you to look like a NATURAL blonde!! (Unlike me; my base color is too dark so I have to completely bleach all of it, it looks fake!) Just get blonde highlights. Tell them you want to look like you spent the summer at the beach every day, that natural look. It will be gorgeous; I wish I could do it! (Since its now winter, you of course should use a little bronzer &/or blush, esp after the blonde highlights! Otherwise u will look washed-out, unhealthy.) I am an expert on blonde!

If your hair is already dark maybe you should go even darker to a medium brown and have subtle blonde highlights, but not too blonde or it'll look too dramatic and fake

if your hair is dirty blonde i'd say mix some brown in it. ask your hair dresser how it would look and they'll probably have ideas too. but yeah definitley brown. if you've never tried it before maybe try side bangs? kind of random but side bangs can really change your hair. good luck!
