If you have been bitten by a cobra:
Leave the site of the bite free and place it beneath the heart if possible (this makes the venom travel more slowly as it has to travel uphill). Get someone else (if possible) to call you an emergency ambulance as soon as possible, and keep as still as possible to ensure the venom travels slowly.
Try not to panic (easy to say) as this increases your heart rate and makes venom travel faster.
GET OFF THE COMPUTER and lie down still until help arrives!
