should i feed them?

there's some cats outside my house and i feel so bad for them cause they're always searching through the garbage. i don't think they're very old cause i just started hearing them like a month ago. should i give them cat food, or will they never leave if i do? or should i call the pound or i don't even know who?

If you feed these cats, u bester belive it wont be the last ou see of them. My friend had this problem and soon enough it was as though she owned this cat. Everytime is had babiess she and her family took the kittens in nad eventually gave them away (although they kept one). Dont mean to scare you but its whats happens, ur face gets associated with a free meal. Maybe you can try a every other week approach, because it is hard to turn away a hungry animal! You can call the pound, but i dont know f theres much they can do besides take them away. If someone adopts them ok, otherwise...

You could feed them.. you are right though, they will never leave.
If you take them to the pound, more than likely they will be put to sleep. Humane Society's usually put wild cats down right away. Unless they show signs that they could be adopted out. Also you will have to trap them and take them yourself. Cats are animals that the Humane Society can not come and pick up. They are known to be in their own domain in the wild.
Just do what you feel is right.

They will continue to tear up the garbage if they have no food. If you feed them they will stick around as long as there is food. I feed the strays around my house because they won't leave and if I don't feed them they make a mess of my trash. I say feed them. They need your help.

Call a shelter! They will take care of them by spaying or neutering them and then putting them up for adoption. If you feed them they will never leave, they will mate and have more kittens,and you will eventually be contributing to more poor, homeless, strays in your neighborhood. They need a home.

You might want to put a little food out so they won't starve to death and call Animal Control. Or try catching them and taking them to the local SPCA, since you don't mention keeping them as an option.

Yeah just feed them. (If you dont want one)Then wait a day or two and see if they leave....... if they do keep feeding them a little if they come back.... until they stay around, and when they do call the pound, BUT make sure you ask your family or friends or anybody if they want one of them!

Please feed the cats. They wont leave anyhow since the get "food" in the trash but feeding them cat food will make sure they don't die :(

it depends. if they look healthy and seem to live well, just leave them alone. this is if you dont want their attention

if you want their attention then give them food every day at night. they'll like that. they will never leave in fact if they become too accustomed they will start to meow if you stop suddenly

if they look like theyre gonna die...um. call the pound.

if you don't plan on keeping them you should get a trap and take them to a no kill animal shelter,because right now,without their mom,they are starving,and there are so many ways that something could happend to them,you really need to get them picked up and taken to a shelter asap,it is much safer,and they will find them a good home.
