Owl was served during first Thanksgiving instead of turkey. Turkey was for second Thanksgiving.

OK, you got me. I actually checked 2 of the dollar bills in my wallet. There is no owl on a US $1.00 bill. At least not the series 1999 and 2003 bills I have.
BTW, what could this possibly have to do with engineering?

There are filigrees above the top two 1's. The rightmost 1 has some sort of leur-de-lis above it
