1. Animal Shelter
2. Newspaper has adoptions
3. CraigsList has adoptions
Make sure you get the kitten spayed/neutered at around 6 months (unless they do it immediately, but it's better for their bodies to wait).

This is not the best time of year to find kittens, but cats are pretty good breeders, so there should be some available. If you're not picky about the breed of cat, go to your local animal shelter. There are also independent cat rescues in some areas. Both shelters and rescues adopt out cats. The adoption fees may seem a little high, but the money is used to cover the cost they incurred vaccinating, worming, and spaying/neutering your new pet. Check in with the rescues and shelters. They may not have kittens available at the moment, but they can notify you when they get some. You never know, you may find a young adult cat sitting in one of their cages who may steal your heart instead.

Best possible place is RSPCA or Cats Protection League or somewhere similar. There's loads of beautiful, lovely cats and kittens out there looking for a loving home. And if you are willing to pay for one you'll be supporting the charity and helping other cats too.

1. A cat shelter, like RSPCA.. they will ask you to fill the form, sometimes they check your house as well, see if you fit to have a kitten/cat..
2. Look for a cat breeder from cat magazine
3. My cat is giving birth on January.. you can get it free, but you have to wait until end Feb or March until the kitten big enuf to be seperated from their mom... :) Cant wait to see the kittens...

You'll be lucky this time of year! Cats Protection League, Blue Cross, RSPCA or go to your local vets, they usually have hoards of cats/kittens on their notice boards needing good homes.

A shelter is a good place to check for one. I got my dog there and it's the best thing I could have ever done. He is the greatest!! :) Good luck in your search!! :)
