I would avoid taking your puppy to any public places until it is fully vaccinated (16-20 weeks of age).

It's important to not take a puppy out in public areas until they are done with all their vaccines series, usually after 16 weeks. You want them to be fully immunized before bringing them out in public, like a park, the store or even to the groomers.

I don't really think it matters I started taking my dog to the park when he turned about 1

After all their shots.But after that, you do want to get them out there, expose them to people, dogs, being on a leash, and learning some discipline.

Socialization of young dogs is very important, or they may always be weird/aggressive/shy with other dogs and people. Let people and other dogs approach and interact with your pup so he/she gets used to it. Just make sure the other dogs or people don't freak them out too much at first - it's a little baby dog.

no age. teaching asap is good. they need to be on the leash asap to get them used to it.
