Try avoiding caffeine and other stimulants at least three hours prior to your usual bed time.Set your bed time accordingly so that you could get at least 8 hours of sleep each day. If you are under 13 years old, it must be 10 hours.
Another misconception is drinking tisane before going to sleep. Tisane is mostly caffeine, and caffeine is a stimulant. Therefore, it cannot help you sleep better.
About school, you must equally convince yourself that school is very important and that you must pay attention in order to succeed and accomplish your courses. Trying finding interests in your everyday school life.

You need to figure out when a good time to wake up is. Following the 1 and 1/2 hour rule is good. So either get 7.5 hrs of sleep or 9 hrs of sleep. If you wake up in btwn, you could disrupt your REM cycle. This will make you sleepy all day. But this isn't right for everyone, you need to find out if your pattern is 1.5 hrs or 1 hr etc.

Hopefully that will work. It sure did for me. I could never get myself out of bed with 8 hrs, but with 7.5 or 9, I'm wide awake. (Also 3, 4.5, etc.).
